1-800 Project

Internal Executive Director of The 1-800 Project, a New Jersey–based creative initiative rooted in community, collaboration, and cultural connection. Through curated events and shared experiences, the project brings together small businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs to create spaces where creativity can thrive and meaningful relationships are built. I lead the vision from concept to execution, shaping programs that feel intentional, inclusive, and community-centered.
Over the past year, The 1-800 Project has grown from intimate gatherings to events welcoming over 200 attendees, reflecting a deep commitment to authentic engagement and connection. I oversee branding, storytelling, partnerships, and team collaboration—mentoring contributors and aligning collective energy toward sustainable growth and long-term impact.
Backyard Oasis
“Backyard Oasis” – July 2024
Backyard Oasis was curated as the launch event for The 1-800 Project and served as the foundation for what the initiative would become. Planned, delegated, and executed over the course of two months, the event brought together 6–8 vendors, 5 artists, 3 DJs, and over 70 attendees for a vibrant, community-driven experience. This event was held in the middle of my backyard.
The space came alive with creativity, passion, and collaboration, as artists, photographers, and videographers documented the energy and storytelling of the day. Backyard Oasis marked the first step in creating a shared space where creatives could gather, connect, and build together.
One Night Only
“One Night Only” – December 2024
One Night Only marked our first collaboration with the incredible small business Terrace Plant Shop, creating an intimate yet impactful gathering rooted in community and creativity. The event featured 5 vendors, 3 artists, and welcomed approximately 70 attendees, helping solidify The 1-800 Project’s presence and further shape its mission and identity.
This collaboration opened the door to future partnerships and branding opportunities, while also laying the foundation for the formation of our very first 1-800 Project team—marking an important step in the project’s growth and evolution.
222 Event
“222” – February 2025
222 Event marked our first community-to-community collaboration, bringing The 1-800 Project together with Friends From Home LLC, a New Jersey–based social community centered on connection and belonging among young adults. The event featured a speed dating experience designed to intentionally merge both communities into one shared space.
This collaboration not only brought young adults together but also fostered meaningful relationships, creative collaborations, and long-term connections—reinforcing the power of community-driven programming.
Y2KADE
“Y2KADE” – April 2025
This event spotlighted emerging DJs and small businesses by transforming a Small Business Arcade into an energetic nightlife experience for young adults. Rooted in the idea of community meets small, the space became a place for discovery and growth—where DJs performed for larger audiences, clothing vendors stepped beyond their comfort zones, and River City Gaming evolved into a vibrant night destination.
The event increased attendance from 70 to 125 people while generating revenue for The 1-800 Project to support future curated events. It also brought increased visibility and profit to the venue, demonstrating the impact of intentional, community-driven collaboration.
The Anniversary Event
“The Anniversary” – August 2025
The 1-800 Anniversary Event marked a pivotal moment for both our team and the community. Transitioning from a backyard setting to a fully rented parking lot space represented a major milestone in our growth. Attendance surged from 70 to over 200 guests, reflecting the expanding reach and resonance of The 1-800 Project.
The event featured 15+ vendors, three artists, and the debut of our expanded art gallery, while collaborating with incredible partners such as Lifestyle Studios, Birdies & Lattes, Terrace Plant Shop, Sanzo, and more. As our first sponsored event, partner support played a vital role in funding the experience in its entirety. This milestone solidified The 1-800 Project’s momentum as an emerging business and laid the groundwork for its future transition into a nonprofit or LLC.
Fall Collective – Birdies & Lattes
“Fall Collective” – November 2025
Our final event of the year closed on a high note through a dynamic partnership with the Birdies & Lattes team. The collaboration involved managing marketing efforts, event coordination, and crowd flow, while transforming a golf simulator space into a vibrant marketplace featuring eight vendors.
Designed to celebrate creativity and connection, the event created meaningful opportunities for vendors to gain exposure and connect with the community. With an estimated 125–150 attendees, the experience expanded awareness for participating businesses and strengthened relationships with collaborators for future programming.
